We are delighted you are considering NLCS Jeju for your son or daughter. In order for your child to be assessed for an available place we require a completed application form and application fee of ₩400,000. Once you have submitted the form you will receive further information on how to arrange payment.
NLCS Jeju reserves the right to close applications for particular year groups earlier than planned, and without notice, if demand is high. We therefore always recommend an early application.
When to apply:
Applications for available places in January, and April can be submitted from 1 August 2023. Please note that applications for Reception, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 are currently closed. Year 10,11,12 and Year 13 are not available for mid-year entry.
Applicants for midterm entry will be required to be assessed at the next August entry year level. If a student does not receive an offer, they are not able to apply for the next academic year's August entry. For example, a student who wishes to join Year 7 in November 2023 will be assessed at Year 8 entry level. If they do not meet the required standard they cannot apply for Year 8 in August 2024 entry.
Year groups will reopen after they have closed on a case by case basis, depending on available places
Once you have registered you will receive an email with an ID number and a list of documents to submit by email. The list of documents to prepare is below, please do not email the documents until you have received an ID number from Admissions.
Required Documents
Further information will be sent to you after you register. Once all assessment elements are complete for your child we will endeavour to inform you of the decision as soon as possible, though we ask that you allow for up to three weeks to receive the outcome email.
Our timetables are created and confirmed prior to the start of the academic year. Students who join in August may have fewer options available to them based on timetable restrictions, particularly for sets, second language choices, iGCSE, and IBDP option choices. For students joining in November, January or April these options will reduce further. Once the academic year has started we cannot change the timetable structure.
Korean Passport Holders
All students who hold a Korean passport (even if they hold another passport/have dual nationality) are legally required to study the Korean Language, Korean History, and Korean Social Studies at NLCS Jeju. Please contact the Admissions team for further information.
